Job summary

Kuresmart is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in office and ASC settings. You will enter intake data and orders into the EMR, obtain vital signs, collect information, and support patient flow while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and compassionate customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assisting pre-op and recovery, preparing forms, and supporting nursing staff with documenting records and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Assist in bringing patients to pre-op, recovery and discharge transport.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Support nursing staff with vital signs and documentation.
• Maintain patient flow and accuracy of scheduled procedures.
