Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in office and ASC settings. You will enter intake data and provider orders into the EMR, assist with pre-op and recovery, and support patient flow while maintaining HIPAA and infection control standards.

You will verify patient information, collect histories, and assist nursing staff with vitals, glucometer checks, and documentation. A strong team attitude and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, clinical staff, other co-workers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Assist in pre-op, recovery and transport to discharge.
• Maintain infection control, safety and OSHA standards.
• Verify patient information and obtain medical history.
• Assist with scheduling, supplies and instruments for procedures.
