Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to provide comprehensive leadership across care, sales, and financial performance. You will partner with the ED to drive occupancy and revenue growth while maintaining high standards of operation and compliance.

The successful candidate will manage recruiting, coaching, and performance, oversee budgets, and ensure top-tier resident and family engagement. A Bachelor's degree and leadership experience in senior living are preferred.

Qualifications

• Senior living leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Administrator license as required.
• Proven track record in operations and team leadership.
• Strong financial, sales, and customer-service acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and decisive leadership.
• Passion for serving seniors and developing leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support full community operations across care, sales, financial performance and compliance.
• Assume Executive Director responsibilities and overall community leadership during ED absence.
• Partner with the ED to drive occupancy, revenue growth and operational excellence.
• Lead recruiting, hiring, coaching and performance management of team members.
• Support budget management, expense control and financial performance.
• Drive resident and family engagement, satisfaction and service recovery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.
• Participate in sales efforts, move-ins and community outreach initiatives.
• Lead meetings, communicate priorities and align department leaders.
