Job summary

Harris in Las Vegas invites a Summer 2027 Project Manager Intern to gain hands-on experience in the construction process. You will work on projects from start to finish, turning classroom lessons into real-life skills on estimating, contracts, permits, safety and more.

You will be exposed to pre-job activities, during-construction tasks, and closeout deliverables like manuals and warranties, while developing math, analytical, and communication skills in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student working toward a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry and project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Demonstrated proficiency of math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estimating, job contracts, permits and insurance certificates (Pre-Job).
• Support safety, purchasing, submittals, materials & equipment tracking, field personnel, productivity, change order submittals.
• Assist with project closeout including O&M manuals and as-record drawings & warranties.
• Contribute to teamwork and effective communication within the project team.
