Job summary

Harris is seeking a Project Manager Intern for Summer 2026. You will gain hands-on experience turning classroom lessons into real-world skills in the construction industry.

You will be exposed to all project phases—pre-job, construction, and closeout—learning to read construction documents, track progress, manage safety, procurement, and change orders, while developing teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry and project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Demonstrated proficiency of math and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Job Setup, contracts, permits and insurance certificates.
• Support safety, purchasing, tracking materials and equipment, productivity tracking, change orders and RFIs.
• Assist with project closeout OM manuals, as-recording drawings and warranties.
