Job summary

Cardinal Pediatric Therapies provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for autistic children and children with developmental delays. This entry-level Behavior Technician role offers structured support to pursue RBT certification within 60 days, with ongoing coaching and opportunities for advancement.

You will work one-on-one with children in clinic, home, school, or community settings, building communication and daily living skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to obtain RBT certification within 60 days.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• TB test completed within the past 12 months.
• Ability to pass criminal background and abuse registry checks.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for applicants.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Ability to work directly with children for multiple hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in clinic, home, school, or community settings.
• Use engaging, age-appropriate activities to support skill development.
• Encourage positive behaviors through reinforcement and consistency.
• Collect session data and complete simple documentation.
• Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with your care team.
• Participate in required training, supervision, and feedback.
