Job summary

Cardinal Pediatric Therapies seeks a Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy across clinic, home, school, and community settings. You will work under a licensed supervisor, using play and structured activities to build communication, behavior, social, and daily living skills while pursuing RBT certification.

The role includes coaching, data collection, and collaboration with families, with structured support to meet BACB RBT requirements and 60-day certification goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to obtain RBT certification within 60 days.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
• TB test completed within the past 12 months.
• Ability to pass criminal background and abuse registry checks.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Ability to work directly with children for multiple hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in clinic, home, school, or community settings
• Use engaging, age-appropriate activities to support skill development
• Encourage positive behaviors through reinforcement and consistency
• Collect session data and complete simple documentation
• Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with your care team
• Participate in required training, supervision, and feedback
