Job summary

Cardinal Pediatric Therapies provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for autistic children and children with developmental delays. The Behavior Technician role offers structured training toward RBT certification with supervision and a clear pathway for professional growth.

This position supports families and children across clinic, home, and community settings. You will work under supervision to deliver therapy, collect data, and progress toward RBT certification within 60 days of hire,

Qualifications

• Must obtain RBT certification within 60 days of hire.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• TB test completed within the past 12 months.
• Ability to pass criminal background and abuse registry checks.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Ability to work directly with children for multiple hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in clinic, home, school, or community settings.
• Use engaging, age-appropriate activities to support skill development.
• Encourage positive behaviors through reinforcement and consistency.
• Collect session data and complete simple documentation.
• Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with your care team.
• Participate in required training, supervision, and feedback.
