Amrize North America is hiring a Transfer Machine Operator for our Asphalt division. You will be responsible for moving hot mix asphalt from delivery trucks to pavers, ensuring a steady material flow and safe operation on site.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on transfer machine experience, a high school diploma, and strong teamwork with truck drivers and paving crews. Daily travel is expected; safety protocols are a top priority in every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience operating asphalt transfer machines on commercial or highway projects.
• Ability to read and follow project plans, paving layouts, and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt transfer machines to move and distribute hot mix asphalt from trucks to pavers safely.
• Monitor material flow to ensure consistent supply to the paving operation.
• Adjust machine settings and conveyor speed to maintain asphalt placement and minimize loss.
• Coordinate with truck drivers, paver operators, and crew to maintain smooth workflow.
• Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and minor troubleshooting on transfer equipment.
