Job summary

Amrize in the United States is seeking a Paving Operator for the Asphalt division. You will safely operate paving equipment to place, level, and finish pavement according to project specifications, monitor mat thickness, asphalt flow, and compaction, and coordinate with the paving crew on highway projects.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 years of hands-on asphalt paving experience, and daily travel with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience operating asphalt paving equipment on highway or large‑scale projects.
• Read and interpret project plans, grades, and layout markings accurately.
• Monitor asphalt placement, mat thickness, and compaction to ensure quality results.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt paving equipment to place, level, and finish pavement according to project specifications.
• Coordinate with paving crew, rollers, screed operators, and lutemen to optimize production.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to highway safety regulations, traffic control plans, and job site protocols.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and commitment to producing durable pavement.
