Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Tack Truck Operator in Maryland to safely operate a TCT truck and support asphalt paving projects across job sites.

The role requires experience on Maryland roadway projects and a valid CDL with tanker endorsement, along with readiness to travel daily. You will load, transport, and unload asphalt materials, perform routine vehicle inspections, and communicate with paving crews to ensure timely operations while following safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maryland roadway project experience preferred.
• Daily travel with reliable transportation required.
• CDL (Class A or B) with Tanker endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a TCT truck safely for asphalt paving operations.
• Transport asphalt materials to and from job sites.
• Load/unload and maneuver materials per paving crew directions.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical issues or delays to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety policies, DOT regulations, and site rules.
• Assist with general paving operations as needed.
