Job summary

Lone Star Paving is a Central Texas paving contractor seeking an Asphalt Heavy Equipment Shuttle Buggy Operator to join the asphalt team. You will work with the crew foreman and help distribute essential components for paving operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with paving equipment, strong safety awareness, and the ability to perform prep work, repairs, and general labor as needed. Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required, with travel across Texas.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in asphalt industry.
• 1–2 years' experience operating paving equipment.
• Organized with a detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Shuttle Buggy and related paving equipment.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform prep duties.
• Maintain safety and coordinate with crew foreman.
• Assist with traffic control, signs, and general labor.
• Work overtime and travel across Texas as required.
