Job summary

Lone Star Paving is seeking an Asphalt Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Central Texas team. You will work with the crew foreman operating asphalt paving machines and supporting paving operations across Texas.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in asphalt, familiarity with paving equipment, and a safety-focused approach. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential travel within Texas.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience within the asphalt industry.
• 1–2 years' experience operating paving equipment.
• Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Must be positive, friendly, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt paving machines as part of the crew.
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily; assist foreman as needed.
• Follow safety practices and wear PPE at all times.
• Perform general labor on prep and patching crews.
