Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Central Texas seeks a Common Laborer to join its paving crews. This entry-level position supports asphalt work under the supervision of foremen and superintendents, contributing to high-quality paving standards.

You will shovel, rake, and handle small tools, work outdoors across Texas, and follow safety policies. The role is full-time with overtime and travel as needed, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Entry level position.
• Working knowledge of asphalt production and related equipment and safety requirements preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laborer duties on asphalt paving, patching, or prep crews.
• Shovel, rake and handle other small tools as needed.
• Assist with equipment cleanup.
• May operate small power tools as required.
• Signal operators to coordinate material movement.
• Assist in placing, moving and dismantling signs, barricades, cones, and traffic control devices.
• Other duties as assigned.
