Job summary

CWR Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Buggy Operator for our local road construction operations in Florida. You will deliver hot mix asphalt, ensure proper temperatures, and support on-site operations to keep paving projects progressing smoothly.

Responsibilities include basic equipment maintenance, understanding paving specs, and coordinating with the supervisor. Must have 2+ years of experience and a valid Florida driver’s license; drug screen and background check may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in asphalt paving or related work.
• Ability to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Must meet company MVR requirements and hold a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Drug screening and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hot mix asphalt to the road surface.
• Ensure asphalt is laid down at the correct temperature.
• Assist in general operations at each job site.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to supervisor.
• Understand paving requirements including grades, drainage, patterns, and compaction.
