Job summary

Pennsy Supply, a CRH company, is seeking an asphalt plant operator to manage daily production at one of our asphalt plants. You will load trucks, monitor equipment, and follow safety rules to ensure high-quality asphalt materials for customers.

The role requires flexibility to work day, night, or weekend shifts at multiple locations, with a drug screen and background check. High school diploma or GED is required, experience is helpful but not mandatory.

• Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.
• Previous experience in asphalt plant operation helpful but not required.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for the daily production of either a batch plant or drum plant to produce quality asphalt for our customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
• Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
• Ensure quality production of asphalt materials
• Assign and load trucks to various locations
• Order liquid asphalt as needed
• Complete daily and weekly production reports
• Perform general daily maintenance on asphalt plant
• Mobility to attend various meetings and events at offsite locations
• Ensure that all government environmental regulations are followed
• Responsible for quality products
• Other duties as assigned
