Job summary

Pennsy Supply, a CRH company, is seeking an asphalt plant laborer to perform general duties at our asphalt plant, including shoveling, material handling, and keeping areas clean while following safety rules. The role requires readiness to learn mobile equipment and work across varied shifts at different locations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED; previous plant experience is helpful but not required, with strong attention to safety and teamwork valued for this position.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience working in or around an asphalt plant is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work various times during day, night or weekend hours

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA/MSHA and Pennsy Supply policies.
• Inspect and service trucks; report conditions to supervisor.
• Learn to operate dozer, excavator, plant loader and pit equipment as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and stockpiles organized to prevent injury.
• Assist the plant operator and remove dust from silos and conveyors.
• Perform general labor tasks and other duties as assigned

Education

High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Previous experience around an asphalt plant helpful
