Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to support deaf or hard-of-hearing students on a full-time, full school year contract. You will interpret between spoken language and ASL in classrooms, assemblies, and meetings, collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure accessible learning.

You must hold a valid Sign Language Interpreter certification and an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher. Previous school-based experience is helpful but not required, and confidentiality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa for students and staff.
• Support access to academic content and communication throughout the school day.
