ZP Connect is expanding its team of interpreters to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpreting via video relay, video remote interpreting, and on-site services. This part-time position requires fluency in ASL and spoken English, willingness to travel to client locations, and completion of training.

The role supports the company's mission to improve access to communication and complies with NAD-RID Code.

Formación

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred).
• State licensure or state-required credentials (as applicable).
• You must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts, and ensure timely and accurate record keeping.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new and changing technologies.
• Multi-task between interpreting and video-based technology.
• Participate in company-sponsored training for professional development.
• Meet performance expectations with minimal supervision.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in all settings.
• Travel to client locations when required; access to a vehicle and valid driver's license.
