Job summary

Viability is seeking a Program Supervisor who is fluent in American Sign Language to lead the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Late Deafened programs in Holyoke with travel to the Berkshires. This full-time role operates 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm, with occasional evenings and weekends.

You will supervise staff, oversee program operations within budget, and collaborate with the Director to ensure program success and participant services.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and have a working knowledge of Deaf culture.
• Bachelor’s Degree with seven years of related experience required, or Masters Degree with 5 years of related experience preferred; with at least one year of experience in a supervisor role.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to transport participants.
• Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices, and community organization.

• Develop and operate specific functions of the supported living program.
• Supervise staff for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Late Deafened programs.
• Manage office operations and assist Director to ensure budget compliance.
