Highland Rivers Behavioral Health seeks a licensed outpatient therapist in Dalton, GA. The candidate provides individualized case management, counseling (individual, group, family) and crisis intervention with Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, using ASL proficiency.

Active GA licensure (LAPC/LMSW/LPC/LCSW) and ASL credential are required; 1+ year experience with severe mental illness is preferred; the role supports recovery-oriented care and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LAPC, LMSW, LPC or LCSW in Georgia.
• Active ASL certification (NIC/CDI/BEI) for direct communication.
• 1+ year experience with individuals with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling in outpatient settings.
• Perform screenings/assessments and crisis intervention per treatment plans.
• Complete paperwork and maintain eligible referrals and charts.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and communicate with families.
• Advocate for patients and support recovery using evidence-based interventions.
