Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed therapist for our outpatient services in Cartersville, GA. The therapist will provide individual, group and family counseling, as well as case management and crisis intervention, with a required active ASL communication credential.

Responsibilities include assessments, referrals, documentation, and ensuring eligibility for services while working within an interdisciplinary team to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LAPC, LMSW, LPC or LCSW in Georgia.
• Active ASL certification (NIC/CDI/BEI) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, individual, family, crisis, and group counseling.
• Deliver services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
• Complete paperwork and ensure eligibility criteria.
• Coordinate referrals and advocate for clients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team.
