Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Licensed Therapist to serve individuals in an outpatient setting. You will provide individualized case management, referrals, screenings/assessments, and counseling in individual, group, and family formats as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions, thorough documentation, and collaboration with community providers.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LAPC, LMSW, LPC or LCSW per Georgia requirements.
• 1+ year of experience with individuals with severe mental illness.
• Proficient computer, organizational and teaching skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, individual, family, crisis, and group counseling per treatment plans and complete paperwork accordingly.
• Ensure eligibility criteria are met or refer to appropriate community providers.
• Manage caseload; ensure services are authorized; maintain charts and closure per policy.
• Communicate with referral sources; advocate for individuals as needed and timely calls.
• Utilize evidenced-based interventions; develop comprehensive plans of care based on strengths and needs.
• Participate as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team; perform other duties as assigned.
