Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking an ASL-certified Therapist to serve clients in an outpatient setting. You will provide individualized case management and a range of counseling services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, ensuring direct communication through an NIC, CDI, or BEI credential.

The role involves assessments, individual, family, crisis, and group counseling, plus necessary paperwork and eligibility work.

Qualifications

• Active ASL certification (NIC, CDI, or BEI) required for direct communication with Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
• Conduct assessments, provide individual, family, crisis, and group counseling.
• Complete paperwork and ensure eligibility criteria are met or referred to appropriate providers.
• Manage caseload with proper documentation and chart management.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team and engage families as needed.
• Communicate with referral sources and advocate for clients as required.
