Job summary

A leading technology company in New York is seeking a Co-op engineer to join the ASIC IP team. This position involves working on digital ASIC design and verification, with a focus on client protocol mapping for Wavelogic ASIC products. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Electrical or Computer Engineering, along with experience in ASIC or FPGA development, System Verilog, Verilog, and Python. Qualifications

• Good academic standing in a relevant Bachelor's program.
• Previous experience with ASIC or FPGA development.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work within the ASIC IP team on digital ASIC design and verification.
• Implement and verify digital designs using System Verilog/UVM.
• Contribute to the client protocol mapping IP of Wavelogic ASICs.
