Job summary

Cisco's Core ASIC Group in the United States is seeking motivated engineers for a 6-month co-op to design, develop, and verify high-performance communications processors and ASICs used in Cisco products. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's).
• Education in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Able to commit to a 6-month co-op program.
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ASIC design flow and RTL using VHDL/Verilog; knowledge of EDA tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and verification of ASICs.
• Contribute to system architecture, NPU design, Ethernet processing, and high-speed logic design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing as needed.
