Job summary

Lilly is building a new, highly automated PAR campus in Concord, North Carolina. The Parenteral (PAR) Lead Operator will spearhead startup activities, become the subject matter expert for PAR equipment and processes, and train new staff while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production.

Post-startup, the role focuses on continuous supply, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet capacity, with growth into leadership and technical roles on the site.

Qualifications

• Lead roles: Leadership and the ability to train / educate team members
• Aseptic filling, single use assemblies, isolator technology.
• Highly automated equipment (inspection, packaging, filling, assembly, etc.)
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Experience in operations/manufacturing environments within pharmaceutical, medical device, or food processing industries
• Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release
• Continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma methodologies)
• SAP, Electronic Batch Records
• STEM degree or certifications

Responsibilities

• Lead operator for PAR area, train staff
• Run the process, troubleshoot, and coordinate daily activities to meet capacity
• Educate team on proper operation and safety procedures
• Lead equipment and process experts for PAR area during startup and operation
