Job summary

Lilly is building a new Concord, North Carolina site to expand parenteral manufacturing. The Lead Operator will guide start-up activities for the aseptic isolator filling area, train staff, and become the go-to expert for PAR equipment and processes.

Post start-up, the role ensures continuous supply by operating and troubleshooting, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and prioritizing safety and quality. Opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with automated equipment in GMP/cleanroom.
• Leadership experience of at least 3 months and ability to train team members.
• Proficient in using computers and MS Office; familiarity with SAP/electronic batch records a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support start-up activities to bring aseptic area into service.
• Educate team on proper operation of the facility and train new staff.
• Lead the PAR equipment and process; become domain expert.
• Run the process, troubleshoot, and coordinate daily activities to meet capacity.
• Grow into future leadership/technical roles at the site.
