Job summary

VIP is seeking an ASE Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, performing maintenance and ensuring work is completed to VIP quality standards. The role requires following safety protocols, initiating service work orders, and maintaining clear communication with the service desk and customers.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals or procedures.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interpret and apply written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Possess ability to perform automotive services listed in ASE scope.

Responsibilities

• Provide automotive systems diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services for customers across ASE areas.
• Follow safety policies, training, and use proper PPE.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated before service.
• Complete MPI and participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return unused parts and cores to the Desk Team after service completion.
• Maintain shop safety, housekeeping, and compliance with regulations.
