Job summary
Socket.dev is seeking an ASE Technician to join our service team in Worcester, MA. The role focuses on diagnosing automotive systems, repairing components, and performing maintenance in a safety-conscious shop environment.
The technician will follow VIP-quality standards and participate in mandatory training and certifications. The position requires strong technical knowledge of ASE categories (A1–A8), adherence to safety policies, and the ability to manage service work orders and parts
Qualifications
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures.
- Explain vehicle information to customers clearly.
- Diagnose and recommend solutions for basic automotive problems.
- Interpret and apply instructions furnished in written or schedule form.
- Be able to perform the listed automotive services (A1–A8 categories).
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety policies are followed and training completed.
- Provide diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for vehicles.
- Maintain service work orders and documentation.
- Own and manage parts from the desk team and return unused parts.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
