Job summary

VIP is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire services, oil changes, MPI, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance. The role requires safe operation, adherence to procedures, and effective communication with customers and teammates to ensure high quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include managing service work orders, performing required inspections, maintaining tools and work space, and completing ASE certifications as needed to uphold VIP standards.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals and procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Effectively explain vehicle information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to successfully perform required types of automotive services listed above.

Responsibilities

• Provide automotive repair and maintenance services including Tire Services, Oil Changes, Under hood Services, MPIs, Wheel Alignments, and Preventive Maintenance.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed with the vehicle during service.
• Complete MPI prior to service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return unused parts to the Desk Team and manage parts safely.
• Follow safety, quality, and loss prevention policies and maintain a clean work area.
