Job summary

VIP is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire services, oil changes, and related under-hood work while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires completing MPIs, following VIP procedures, and upholding safety, loss prevention, and customer service programs. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and accurate service work within a fast-paced automotive service environment.

Qualifications

• One year of related automotive service experience.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
• ASE and state certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide tire services, oil changes, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance.
• Initiate a valid Service Work Order and display it with the vehicle during service.
• Complete MPIs prior to servicing each vehicle and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return cores and unused parts to the Desk Team after service completion.
• Maintain a clean, organized service area and proper tool/equipment storage.
