Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Flat Rate Technician to diagnose, repair, and service automotive systems while upholding VIP culture and safety standards. You will follow established processes, complete service work orders, and participate in ongoing training to maintain ASE certifications and state inspections.

The role emphasizes accuracy and first-time quality. The Technician will need to work non-exempt, hourly shifts, collaborating with the Service Manager and Desk Team to deliver a superior customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive service experience.
• Completion of a 2-year college/technical program recommended.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and ASE certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and follow safety policies.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems per ASE coverage.
• Open and display a valid Service Work Order before service.
• Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return unused parts to the Desk Team after service.
• Maintain productivity targets and shop cleanliness.
• Attend LMS trainings and required certifications.
