Job summary

VIP Auto Service is seeking a Flat Rate Technician to perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on automotive systems while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The technician will follow VIP processes, document work orders, and uphold the company’s customer service expectations.

The role requires ability to work with ASE certifications as applicable and to participate in ongoing training and quality control measures.

Qualifications

• Reads, analyzes, and interprets technical instructions and procedures.
• Explains vehicle information to customers and responds to questions.
• Diagnoses and recommends solutions to automotive problems.
• Follows safety policies and completes safety training.
• Maintains ASE certifications as required by position.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety as the top duty in daily work routines.
• Provide diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for vehicle systems.
• Ensure Service Work Order is created and displayed during service.
• Complete required training and certifications for the role.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and tool inventory.
• Participate in team meetings and service process improvements.
