Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center is seeking a Lead Medical Technologist to perform MT-MLS II functions and guide laboratory staff in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will oversee training, performance management, and the introduction of new products and instrumentation.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to maintain regulatory compliance across the department, ensuring quality control and proficiency testing standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Laboratory Science.
• ASCP certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• Experience guiding and developing technical staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs MT-MLS II job functions.
• Guides, trains, coaches, and develops technical staff.
• Ensures quality control and proficiency testing protocols are followed.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and prepares for inspections.
• Oversees budgeting and staffing within the department.
