Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them for the ASC appointment.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately.
• Collect payments at check-in/out or when scheduling appointments.
• Schedule open access patients for the ambulatory surgery center per guidelines.
• Review medical records and prior GI procedures as needed for scheduling.
• Explain financial obligations including co-pays and deductibles to patients.
• Answer phones, return calls, and provide accurate information.
• Handle mail, fax, andMedical records; scan and index into patient charts.
• Check patient eligibility daily and resolve failed claims until approved.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
