Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Technical Revenue Manager to join our finance team. This individual contributor role focuses on ASC 606 compliance, policy design, and technical accounting papers to support new offerings and complex transactions.

The role requires CPA and 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in technical revenue, plus deep ASC 606 knowledge across multi-element arrangements. Remote-first with competitive benefits and equity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
Active CPA license is required.
5+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years in Technical Revenue.
Deep ASC 606 expertise in multi-element, consumption-based and hybrid arrangements.
Experience with standalone selling price, POIs, variable consideration, and principal vs. agent analysis.

Responsibilities

Document and design revenue recognition policies for new offerings under ASC 606.
Research and write technical revenue position papers for complex transactions.
Evaluate commercial structures and billing models to determine POBs and accounting treatments.
Lead cross‑functional initiatives to scale revenue processes and drive automation.
Support SOX controls, audits, and close activities with defensible documentation.
Assist with ad hoc projects including M&A diligence and integration.
