Cribl is seeking a proactive Technical Revenue Manager to join our finance team. In this individual contributor role, you will serve as our ASC 606 subject matter expert, authoring positions and policies to launch new offerings on a compliant, scalable footing.

The ideal candidate has deep ASC 606 expertise, strong technical writing skills, and solid judgment. You will drive policy design, respond to audits, support SOX controls, and assist with month-end close in a remote-first setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2+ years in Technical Revenue.
• Deep, practical ASC 606 expertise applied to multi-element, consumption-based, and hybrid arrangements.
• Direct experience with standalone selling price, performance obligation identification, variable consideration, material rights, contract modifications, and principal versus agent analysis.
• Demonstrated technical accounting research and writing skills with position papers and policies.
• Judgment about scope and defensible conclusions without over-analysis.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and explain concepts to non-accountants.
• Experience with revenue controls and SOX in a regulated environment.
• Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite and Salesforce experience.
• NetSuite ARM experience is a plus.
• Interest in applying AI to finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Author and document revenue accounting policies governing new offerings.
• Research, resolve, and write technical revenue position papers for complex transactions and corporate acquisitions.
• Evaluate emerging commercial structures, consumption-based models, and POBs for ASC 606 alignment.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale revenue processes and drive automation.
• Serve as primary contact for technical revenue matters with external auditors and maintain SOX controls.
• Support month-end close and revenue flux analysis.
• Assist on M&A diligence and cross-functional finance projects.
