Job summary

Cribl is seeking a proactive Technical Revenue Manager to own ASC 606 policy design and revenue accounting for new offerings. You will author authoritative papers, partner with Product, Sales, Legal and Deal Desk, and ensure scalable, compliant revenue recognition across diverse deployment models.

The role emphasizes practical accounting judgment, strong writing skills, and experience with standalone selling price, performance obligations, and contract modifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with ASC 606 exposure.
• Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606 for multi-element arrangements.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce; proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Author/research revenue policies under ASC 606 for new offerings.
• Prepare technical revenue position papers detailing accounting conclusions.
• Evaluate commercial structures and POBs for compliance.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale revenue processes and controls.
• Support SOX compliance with control documentation and audit readiness.
• Assist with month-end close, revenue reporting, and flux analysis.
• Tackle ad hoc accounting projects including post-close integration.
