Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in El Monte, CA is seeking an onsite Asbestos Scientist 3 to analyze customer samples for asbestos content using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) and Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM). The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. The candidate will provide analysis, administration and oversight of policies and practices related to materials testing, and will work with management to interpret results and ensure QA compliance.

Qualifications

• Adequate asbestos analysis knowledge and interpretation.
• Ability to follow QA procedures and documentation standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff and customers.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, codes, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides intermediate to complex asbestos analysis using PLM/PCM.
• Reviews, analyzes, and documents testing results.
• Calibrates and maintains microscopes and lab equipment.
• Ensures QA procedures are followed and data is accurate.
• Collaborates on cross-functional projects and guides staff.
