Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) invites a PLM Analyst to prepare and analyze environmental samples, including asbestos, using Polarizing Light Microscopy and LIMS data entry. The role involves data validation, reporting, and QA support within a fast-paced lab environment.

The candidate should have a Geology-related degree (preferred), 1–3 years lab experience, color discernment, strong English proficiency, and U.S. work authorization. Training Mon–Fri; Tue–Sat 1:00pm–9:00pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or similar is preferred.
• 1–3 years laboratory experience.
• Computer and software proficient.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Login, prepare, and analyze environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter and report descriptions and data using LIMS.
• Perform independent QC analysis for others’ work.
• Perform analysis of reference materials and QA samples.
• Maintain client service and provide technical support.
• Assist QA manager in development and collection of QA processes.
• Perform testing and QA tasks as needed.
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining laboratory accreditations.
• Coordinate projects based on rush status and due times.
• Train new analysts as needed.
