Job summary

Northampton Community College seeks an Arts Engagement Coordinator to strengthen campus arts programming. You will curate exhibitions, work with the Arts Advisory Committee, manage labs and studio spaces, and coordinate with partner artists and faculty across NCC campuses.

The role emphasizes student engagement in planning shows, creating catalogs, and promoting events with Marketing and Public Safety. This is a 12-month, on-site position within the arts program.

Qualifications

• Experience at a community college is highly desirable.
• BA in Arts or arts-related field is required.
• Teaching demonstration for the search committee will be requested.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce and expand public campus engagement in the arts.
• Plan and manage exhibitions, events, and artist residencies across NCC campuses.
• Curate collections, develop cataloging with Learning Commons, and coordinate with Marketing.
• Host visiting artists and coordinate with Facilities for installation and deinstallation.
