Job summary

Creative Flagstaff in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking an Events Coordinator & Programs Assistant to help plan and run premier arts and cultural events and support the Coconino Center for the Arts. This in-person role requires weekend/evening hours and offers hands-on experience coordinating community programs and venue operations.

You will serve as on-site staff lead during events, coordinate volunteers, manage front-of-house activities, and assist with audience research, communications, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; experience could substitute for education.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, support and execute community arts events.
• Oversee the venue’s readiness and manage equipment transitions and seating.
• Lead on-site during events and coordinate volunteers.
• Assist with audience research, community communications, event documentation, and impact reporting.
• Manage front-of-house operations, including ticketing and concessions.
