Job summary

Northampton Community College in Bethlehem is seeking an Arts Engagement Coordinator to lead exhibitions, manage labs and studio spaces, and collaborate with faculty and community artists.

As the sole 12-month employee in the art program, you will coordinate with NCC campuses to plan and promote exhibitions, engage students in planning shows, and help expand public arts programs across the college.

Qualifications

• This position requires experience in academia and arts program coordination.
• All candidates will be asked to demonstrate teaching for the search committee.

Responsibilities

• This position reinforces and expands public campus engagement in the arts.
• Plan and manage exhibitions, collections, fund-raising, and arts spaces across NCC campuses.
• Coordinate with setting up promotions, installations, and deinstallations of exhibitions.
• Create a catalog of the existing collection and explore cross-campus check-out of art assets.
• Involve students in planning and creating shows and events across campus.
• Support visiting artists, guest lectures, and curators; collaborate with Marketing to feature photos online.
