Job summary

The Engagement and Artistic Coordinator at UNC Chapel Hill's Carolina Performing Arts connects CPA with engagement partners, community collaborators, visiting artists, and UNC staff. You will support planning and executing CPA's engagement programming, creative partnerships, performances, and other mission-driven work from planning to successful implementation.

Hours are variable; expect about 20–30 hours weekly with occasional higher or lower workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience coordinating projects, events, or productions with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication, adaptable to different audiences.
• Customer service mindset with a welcoming approach for artists and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of CPA's engagement programming and partnerships.
• Assist with logistics, reporting, timelines, and basic bookkeeping support.
• Develop tools and SOPs to streamline engagement and artistic operations.
• Coordinate with CPA staff, visiting artists, and community partners to ensure successful programs.
