Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an Associate Director, Venues and Events to lead facility management, venue sales and rental administration across CPA venues, and oversee a team of Front of House, Box Office, and operations staff.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Strategy, you will drive operational excellence, develop seasonal workforce plans for festivals, manage budgets, and partner with Technical and Production teams to maximize venue utilization and revenue.

Qualifications

• Sustained multi-facility event management experience.
• Significant facility maintenance planning and execution.
• Proficiency with ArtsVision or similar venue scheduling software.
• Experience supervising full-time employees.
• Familiarity with engaging local government entities in event planning.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Experience planning large-scale, multi-location events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility management, venue sales and rental administration.
• Lead Front of House and Box Office operations for CPA venues.
• Develop strategies to improve operational effectiveness and revenue.
