Job summary

Vanessa Beecroft Studio in Los Angeles seeks a meticulous registrar, archivist and personal assistant to organize artwork records and maintain the studio database. You will handle images, provenance, and exhibition documentation, and support loans and shipping records.

As the personal assistant to the artist, you will manage calendars, correspondence, travel, and coordinate with galleries, collaborators and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience with artist archives, gallery registration or collection databases is preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar software is required.
• Applications must include a CV and at least two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Maintain artwork records, update studio database, and organize images, provenance, and exhibition documentation.
• Support loans, shipping records and condition reports.
• Manage artist's calendar, correspondence and travel; coordinate with galleries, collaborators and vendors; handle day-to-day studio administration.
• Bookkeeping duties and keeping financial records for the accountant.
