Art Bridges Foundation is seeking an Assistant Registrar, Partner Loan Network to support registration duties and logistics for partner museums. You will track timelines, maintain records, and ensure safe movement of artworks within assigned portfolios.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and project management to safeguard art and support community access to American art.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fine art, art history, museum studies, arts administration, or a related field required.
• 2-3 years of experience in museum registration, exhibition or art loan administration, or a related field.
• Experience in budgeting and coordinating timelines for exhibitions or loans.
• Knowledge of museum standards and best practices.
• Experience with condition reporting, packing, shipping, and insurance for artworks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external partners.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary registration contact for PLN loans in the portfolio.
• Prepare materials for external use: crate lists, packing notes, handling instructions.
• Prepare, review, and manage exhibition loan agreements and insurance certificates.
• Collaborate with partners and oversee packing, crating, and shipping logistics.
• Book and oversee contractors and vendors for PLN related projects.
• Monitor environmental and security requirements for borrowing venues.
• Develop, communicate, and track project budgets.
• Code and submit invoices for project activities.
• Condition report artworks and monitor changes.
• Review facility reports and make loan recommendations.
• Review and approve venue layouts and security arrangements.
• Maintain records in the collections management system.
• Maintain project information, timelines, and updates using PM tools.
• Keep detailed project files and digital records organized.
• Collaborate to assemble and disseminate exhibition materials/reports.
• Attend meetings and share updates with stakeholders.
