Job summary

Gourmet Foods International in Decatur is seeking Team Members with a passion for artisanal foods and a drive to grow sales. You will manage sales activities, present and sell to distributors nationwide, and cultivate relationships with artisan manufacturers to expand our product portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience with a food distributor.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell artisanal, specialty food items to distributors nationwide.
• Cultivate relationships with artisan manufacturers and expand product portfolio.
• Manage inherited customers and prospect new customers.
• Schedule and manage customer visits to present demonstrations and close sales.
• Identify and resolve client concerns and participate in events and tastings.
