Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking a Food Service Territory Manager for the West Caldwell, NJ area. You will oversee all sales activities in your territory, focusing on specialty and artisan foods and building strong chef and foodservice relationships.

You’ll manage current accounts and pursue new business, coordinating product demos, events, and customer visits to grow revenue and demonstrate value across the network of chefs and culinary professionals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the foodservice industry.
• Bachelor's degree is required or preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell artisanal food items to chefs and culinarians.
• Cultivate relationships with artisan manufacturers and expand product lines.
• Manage inherited and new customers and schedule customer visits.
• Conduct outside sales activities to grow territory revenue.
• Identify client needs and close sales with personalized solutions.
